Web Comic.

I am going to start a web comic again at some point, I am determined, I am not going to quit!

But there are a few things in my way, I have the basic plans for the first few comics so that is fine, I know someone with the knowledge and expertise to make a site for my comic so that is fine, It is just the stage in the middle which is blocking my way to making the comic.

The person I was relying on to draw my comic (my brother) is now refusing to do any drawing or make any sort of contribution to the comic and I can’t draw very well.  This leaves me in a dilemma. Gah! I guess I will have to force myself to draw something decent or think of some style of drawing a human shaped character while at the same time making it simple to draw. Which would be fine exept there is not really any way I can do anything for any long period of time without my brother or my friends distracting me and last time I tried to concentrate on drawing properly I just ended up getting angry, shouted at my brother (which he totally deserved), threw away all the stuff I had drawn that time (not the plans for the comic) and tidied up my desk (don’t ask how I got there). Bah, maybe I will just use stick men…

I have done a web comic before, a couple of years ago, a sprite comic using sprites from A link to the past, hosted by drunk duck called Triforce trio. It was pretty crap but it did have a couple of decent jokes in there but its all gone now…

If I do manage to get it up and running then it will be somewhere on this website.

Unidentified Flying Object in Italy

In May 2007 I went on holiday to Italy. On one of the days I went to one of these ancient roman settlements. I was on my way out when this object floated over the tree line into visibility. It hovered behind the trees for a few seconds then moved behind another group of trees and stopped there for another 10 or so seconds. It did this about 4 times in total and began to gradually accelerate away out of sight. When I moved past the trees to see where it went it was gone.

There were no lights or sounds coming from the object, all it did was move around. I could not judge how large it was or it’s distance from the ground. The following pictures were taken by my brother when it stopped. The pictures were taken with a normal digital camera. It kinda freaks me out thinking about it too much. There were 3 pictures but one was quite bad quality so I didn’t post it, this is the reason for the filename being different to the number of the pictures. (UFO 1 is “italy-ufo-2.jpg” and UFO 2 is “italy-ufo-3.jpg”)

Update

Hmm, thought I would go on this blog again after a while of doing… things…

I am going to use this time (whether you like it or not) to give you, my gracious audience of zero, certain details about my life so far, those which aren’t classified anyway (there are very few).

I thought I would go on Guild wars again recently and it turns out that the now defunct guild I was a lowly member of about a year ago has disbanded and left me in charge “woot, free guild” is the only suitable thing I could think of saying at the time so I said it. Nothing has come of it though and I seem to have stopped playing guild wars again.

I got an X-box 360 although the only person likely to read this knows already, I don’t know if I have already mentioned it.

I have seen a few movies recently, mostly the third parts of something (Pirates 3 and Spider-man 3) and I am looking forward to Transformers.

Doctor Who is over until Christmas (Its a little holiday celebrated by a few people around the place, you might have heard of it, its just before winter-een-mas) and the Master was back played by the brilliant John Simm (Yay!) and was then killed (boo).

I saw a UFO in Italy, I will have pictures soon.

Heroes is over, Molly mentions someone worse than Sylar who can see her when she tries to find him/her. I’m thinking its Uluru (the monster from Issac’s comics near the begining of the series, heres a link: http://www.9thwonders.com/gallery/uluru.jpg. Hmm, that guy looks like Hiro. I’m not going to say anything else about the last episode as my friend hasn’t seen it yet.

I haven’t bought an ultimate spider-man graphic novel in a while but I have applied for a part time job at a nearby supermarket so that has a chance of changing if I get the job.

I have a desire to start a webcomic again for some reason. It would be nice but it would have to be sprites as I can’t draw and I’m sure it will not be very successful.

One of my friends is spending too much time in this IMVU thing and he keeps leaving himself logged in when he leaves my house so my other friend keeps going on his account and messing around with stuff. At least he isn’t watching the same Monty python clips that he has seen 100 times before and has memorized all the lines.

Harry Potter is coming soon, hooray!

I have a sudden desire to explore places like sewers… I’m sure it will pass.

Depressed

I’m feeling rather depressed today, it could be boredom, dust, the birds nest outside my window, heat, my brother leaving orange skins and litter around the house, hay fever, tea, insanity, the church, the other window (not the bird nest one) being far too big for my needs or lack of quality speakers on my computer, I just don’t know so I shall post a complaint about each of them in the hope that it cheers me up a little.

Boredom: it’s self explanatory, I have nothing to do, well, I say that but I could read, play heatseeker on the Wii, play Lylat wars on the Virtual console, watch Firefly on TV, go for a walk(pfft), dare I say it, add something more than one chapter to my “book” that I’m “writing” for no reason(Its an ongoing project…), revise, play Sims2, Oblivion or Battlefield 2142 on the PC, tidy my house, watch a DVD, play Wind waker or rouge leader on the Gamecube (via the Wii), work out(again, pfft), learn to cook, fix my bike, order a pizza, go to a friends, go shopping, post on my Blog(Oh, wait…), get a job, have a shower, make a sandwich, stumble the internets, start a webcomic, learn to draw, read some webcomics, read some real comics, read a magazine, play mariokartDS, new super mario bros, animal crossing or Star fox command on my DS, go to the toilet, think up a conspiracy, start a club/cult, join a club/cult (less effort) or take some photos. But I don’t feel like doing many of those and most of them wouldn’t take all day anyway.

Dust: this room is very dusty and not good for my mood or environment bar(If you play sims)

Bird nest: Not really a depressing subject I know but the chicks are probably having a better time than I am today and they don’t even have an internet connection, I would assume…

Heat: Its quite a hot day today and I don’t like the magazine anyway so why would I want to read it.

My Brother… Orange skins and litter: he just leaves it where it drops and sometimes I find it weeks or months later and what makes it worse is that I hate the smell of oranges. luckily he is out at the moment.

Hay fever: I have a partially blocked nose probably due to hay fever, whats strange is that I usually feel better outside so it may be due to dust, but am I going to go outside, the answer is no, not if I can help it and besides it usually only works in a urban environment not a garden and I’m not going near anywhere with people or chavs (particularly chavs).

Tea: I made some tea earlier and it spilled everywhere. Not that interesting but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Insanity: Not a relevant thing but it could be a reason for my depression. You never know, I could be crazy.

The church: Also not relevant but I disagree with organized religion (or at least organized religion that I disagree with) and whilst it exists there will always be a certain level of depression in me.

The other window : I don’t like it, it is way too big, as if the builders couldn’t be bothered to finish the wall so they shoved a window there instead, its not even looking at anything, I will look through and say what I see, a bin, a pond with no fish in it, some green things (plants is what I think they are called) and my neighbors wall. The window also lets the sun in so all I can see on my TV is the reflection of the window, and the curtains are shit, the actually let the light in, completely useless, curtains are for keeping the sun and weirdos out and besides windows are meant to be an afterthought, you build a wall and think “hmm I could have a window here”, knock a small hole in the wall at around head height about the size of a movie poster and put some glass in if there is a decent enough view not a huge hole that takes up over 50% of the wall that faces another wall with a small space a little wider than a pavement in between.

Speakers: They aren’t that great and the music doesn’t quite sound right if it is a bit too loud.

Well that was longer than expected and cheered me up a little bit but I will most likely go back to depression in a few minutes. Oh well, I will be OK after Doctor Who and hopefully the T-shirts I ordered will arrive soon, anthrax free(Fingers crossed). I don’t blame you if you don’t read it. I wouldn’t if I stumbled across it.

Join me

After finishing reading the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy series by Douglas Adams (very good books) I decided to start reading another book I found in my school library entitled “Join me” by Danny Wallace although I am only about a quarter of the way through, I am enjoying it immensely and would recommend it to anyone (well some people anyway) and I intend to read another book by him called Yes man after I am done with this one.

Torchwood

The second series of Torchwood is on this next year at some point and although I enjoyed the first series I think there could be some changes made, the obvious ones being to make it more mature, with less swearing. But there are some other changes that would make it better in general, Number 1: The Doctor should have Jack “fixed” time-lord style, return him to how we first met him in Doctor Who. Number 2: Kill off Owen some how, I don’t know, make him turn evil, give them an excuse to shoot him, also opens up a position for another character to the team(Martha Jones’ welsh cousin?). Number 3: Gwen would probably become the leader, she would look through the Torchwood files(like she should have to begin with) and realize that the Doctor took Jack and become more intent on finding him, make her stop worrying about her boyfriend so much. Number 4: More communication with other branches of Torchwood, Torchwood 4, the one Jack offhandedly mentioned as going missing in the first episode, could have actually gone missing and could be the theme of one of the episodes, Torchwood 2 is apparently lead by “a very odd man”, He could also appear and the destruction of Torchwood 1 having more of an effect on the other branches of Torchwood. Number 5: More opposition from the Cardiff police with the character from “They keep killing Suzi” returning and Gwen’s friend from when she was a police officer.

These are just a few ideas for improving the series and I just wanted to get them off my head. I don’t really expect anyone to read this.

Carbon Conspiracy

Basically this conspiracy has been drifting around my head for quite some time now, it begins with the simple fact that on the periodic table the element Carbon has an atomic weight of about 12, now I know this isn’t the case for all carbon samples but bear with me, and an atomic number of 6, this means that carbon on average has 6 electrons, 6 neutrons and 6 protons, 666 of course being “the number of the beast” and the beast being Satan, this is backed up by the fact that carbon isn’t that great, Carbon dioxide pollutes our air and carbon monoxide is toxic to humans and another, what some people would say is bad about carbon, is that life or at least most life(I am of course referring to the aliens that live amongst us) on this planet is carbon based.

But this is were the theory gets really interesting (to me anyway) Diamonds are a form of Carbon and as the best friend rule states, Diamonds are a girl’s best friend and Dogs are a man’s best friend, but as we can clearly see, dog is Satan speak for God, meaning that if you are a man your best friend is God, which may be why in the olden days only men could be priests and stuff. Us Humans are also carbon-based life forms, meaning that according to this theory, we are Satan based life forms, and according to the Bible, God created Humans in his own form, meaning that God is Satan and visa versa, this is reinforced by the phrase “number of the beast” with the beast referring to Satan, it could also be referring to an animal, such as a dog.

So lets recap, according to this theory if you are a girl it is likely that your best friend is Satan and if you are a man your best friend is God, but as my theory has also stated, God is in fact Satan so if you are a man, your best friend is also Satan and if you are a girl, your best friend is also God, but that doesn’t make any sense as God and Satan are opposites and Satan can’t be your best friend as he is evil and probably a member of the chess team. Therefor science has proven or given evidence against God, or at least that if this God character everyone is raving on about does exist, he has been lying to us all this time.

Hello, I’m a little annoyed because I spent a while making the about me page and it doesn’t appear to be there, anyway this is my first post but it will not be read by anyone really at least not for some time. Unless some aliens far away find this, declare war on Earth and are eaten by a small dog.
